Daily Mind Question
If you felt envy toward someone — that envy is a map of what you actually want.
You don't need to write down the answer — self-understanding grows in proportion to the time the question lingers.
The Real Story Behind the Tests
Where the four frameworks in this lab came from — knowledge with sources.
From Temperament to Dimensions
Hippocrates' four temperaments were the starting point of sorting people into “types.” Two thousand years later, psychology changed direction — people aren't types but positions on continuous dimensions. Every hall in this lab shows results as scores and dimensions, not type labels.
The Four Sources
Love Triangle — Sternberg (1986). Burnout 3-Factor — Maslach-referenced simplified version. Self-Esteem — Rosenberg Scale (1965) original. Character Strengths — Peterson & Seligman VIA Classification (2004).
The Legacy of Projective Tests
The Rorschach test, TAT — famous scenes in the history of psychological testing, but modern psychometrics has debated their scoring reliability. Today's standard leans toward self-report scales with published items, scoring rules, and interpretation criteria.
What Self-Understanding Does
Test numbers alone don't change minds — what changes is the observation that begins because of those numbers. Every result in this lab is designed to be used as a starting point for observation, not a verdict.
